The woes of Ekta Kapoor's film Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum just
doesn't seem to be getting over. After the ban on the film in Muscat and
Kuwait, the makers are in for yet another round of controversy. Some
members from the Christian community have filed a case against the
producers in Bandra police station with reference to the scene in the
movie where a priest is conducting the marriage of two dogs.
The Bandra police station has registered a case on Tuesday under section 295(A) of the IPC- Deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious belief. The police will record Ekta's statement, only after verifying the presence of the said scene.
Meanwhile, Joseph Dias (General Secretary of The Catholic Secular Forum) said that they want to take up this issue with the Censor Board. That's why they even went to the Censor Board office, but since the department heads were out of the country, they weren't able to meet them. He also added that the CSF have given a memorandum to the Censor Board and will wait for a couple of days for them to react.
