Shooting in Ladakh is not easy

Shooting in Ladakh is not easy

Shooting in Ladakh is not easy. Crew members of J P.Dutta's LOC and Farhan Akhtar's Lakshya have fallen ill complaining of breathlessness and suffocation caused by the vertiginous altitude at which the Ladakh region is located. During LOC, two of the crew actually lost their lives in Ladakh.

No wonder, then, that Yash Chopra's crew which is currently shooting in Ladakh, has taken all necessary precautions to deal with any health crisis that could arise.

Yash Chopra's cast of Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma and the core crew left for Ladakh with Bollywood's favourite physician Dr. R .L. Agarwal accompanying them.

Says a source close to Yash Raj, "Dr. Agarwal has been in Ladakh from the day the team arrived. It's pretty scary to shoot so high above sea level. Yashji's crew feels much more comfortable with Dr.Agarwal around. They were especially concerned about Yashji who is nearly 80. But you know what? Yashji is the fittest among all of them."

Luckily, so far, no crew or cast member has fallen ill. When contacted the Yash Raj spokesperson confirmed, "He (Dr. Agarwal) went with the crew from the start of the schedule. All is well in the unit."
